Emailing Class Participants

You can send email messages to all confirmed participants of a class directly from Bookabee. This is useful for announcements, reminders, or schedule changes.

Sending an email

1. Go to the class detail page and click the "Email" tab.
2. Enter a subject line for your email.
3. Compose your message using the rich-text editor — you can add formatting, links, and lists.
4. Set a reply-to email address so parents can respond to your message.
5. Click "Send" to deliver the email to all confirmed participants.

You can view a history of sent emails for each class on the same page. Each entry shows the subject, recipient count, and date sent.

Attaching files

You can attach PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, and PDF files to your email — useful for class flyers, term schedules, kit lists, or consent forms. Click "Add files" under the message, pick the files from your computer, and they'll upload one by one. Each recipient gets the attachments with their copy of the email.

• Up to 5 attachments per email.
• Maximum 5 MB per file.
• Maximum 10 MB total across all attachments.
• Supported types: PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, PDF.

If you need to send something bigger — a long video, a multi-page photo album, a huge PDF — send it from your own email client instead. Bookabee is designed for short transactional updates, not bulk media transfer.

Recipient privacy

Each recipient receives their own individual email — addresses are never shared between participants. We send a separate message per booker, so no parent can see who else is on the list. This is stronger than BCC and is how we make sure bulk emails to a class don't leak personal data.
