What happens when a class is full — and how to book if a place opens up.
When a class is full, some providers offer a waitlist so you can register your interest. If a place opens up later, the provider can offer it to you with a personal booking link.
Note
Joining the waitlist doesn't reserve a place or charge you anything — it just lets the provider get in touch if a spot opens up.
If a place becomes available, the provider can offer it to you. You'll get an email with subject "A place has opened up for [class name]" and a button to book your place.
Click the button in the email to open the booking form. The link is personal to you — it lets you book even if the class still shows as full to everyone else. Your name and email will be filled in for you, but you'll still need to complete any other information the provider asks for, and pay if the class is paid.
Tip
Places that open up tend to go quickly, so book as soon as you can. The link is yours to use — don't share it with anyone else.
Once you've booked using the offer link, you're no longer on the waitlist. You'll get the standard booking confirmation email with your reference and a link to manage your booking.
If you no longer want to be on the waitlist, contact the activity provider directly and ask them to remove you. Their contact details are shown on the class page.
