How class pricing and booking fees work.
When you book a paid class on Bookabee, the total includes:
Both numbers are shown upfront. On every class listing and class page, the price is written as "£XX.XX + £YY booking fee" so the fee is visible before you click Book — no hidden charges at checkout. The booking form then shows the breakdown plus the final total.
Some providers allow booking after sessions have started. In this case, the price is automatically reduced based on the number of remaining sessions. For example, if a 10-session class costs £50 and 3 sessions have already happened, you'd pay for the 7 remaining sessions.
Some providers let you pick individual sessions to pay for rather than the whole class. When that's the case the booking form shows a session picker and the total updates as you tick sessions on or off. The per-session price is shown on the listing.
Some providers offer optional extras — a certificate, a T-shirt, or something like bringing a sibling — that you can add to your booking. These are added to your total on the booking form. Some are a one-off price and some are charged per session. See the "Add-ons and optional extras" article for more.
If the activity provider has shared a voucher code with you, enter it on the booking form before paying. The discount appears in the breakdown and the total drops accordingly. See the "Using a voucher" article for more.
Some providers link a set of their classes together and offer a discount on the second one. If you already have a confirmed booking in one of those classes, the discount is applied automatically when you book another — there's no code to enter. It appears as a "Multi-class discount" line on the price breakdown, matched on the email address you booked with, so use the same one both times.
The discount needs your first booking to be paid and confirmed. If you're part-way through paying for it, the form will tell you the discount will apply once that payment goes through. A voucher code and a multi-class discount can't both apply to the same booking — whichever you use, only one comes off.
Some classes are free to book. There are no fees for free classes — you simply fill in the booking form and your place is confirmed instantly.
