The Monday weekly summary email

A digest of last week's bookings, customers and revenue, emailed to company admins every Monday morning.

Every Monday at 9am, Bookabee emails company admins a summary of how the previous week went — what sold, who booked, and what it earned. There's nothing to switch on; it starts arriving once you're taking bookings.

Who gets it

Admins only. Members and assistants don't receive it — it's a whole-company revenue report rather than an operational alert, and assistants never see money figures anywhere in Bookabee.

What week it covers

The last complete Monday-to-Sunday week, in UK local time. The email that arrives on Monday 15th covers Monday 8th to Sunday 14th — so it's always a full week, never a partial one.

What's in it

  • Total bookings taken, with a class-by-class breakdown (bookings, session places, page views and net revenue for each).
  • Total net revenue — what you took, minus any refunds.
  • How many distinct customers booked, how many of those were new to you, and up to five of them by name.
  • Week-on-week change on bookings, revenue and customers, compared against the week before.
  • Attendance, page views, cancellations, refunds, waitlist sign-ups, and what's coming up in the week ahead.

Sections disappear rather than showing a zero. If you didn't mark a register, there's no attendance section; if nothing was cancelled, there's no cancellations section. A short email means a quiet week, not a broken one.

Quiet weeks

If you took no bookings at all in the week, nothing is sent. You won't get an email full of zeroes.

What the numbers mean

  • A "booking" is a confirmed booking made during the week — dated by when it sold, not when the class runs.
  • Revenue is net: what was paid, minus anything refunded.
  • "Session places" counts the sessions each booking covers, so a pay-as-you-go booking of three sessions counts three.
  • A "new customer" is an email address that had never booked with you before.
  • Attendance is based on sessions that actually ran that week, and only counts registers you marked.

Note

Page views need a few days of history before they can be compared, so the views line may be missing from your first summary or two.

Turning it off

Go to Notifications in your dashboard and switch off "Weekly summary". It's per person and per company, so turning it off doesn't affect your co-admins, and an admin of two companies can keep it for one and not the other.
