Mid-Session Booking and Pro-Rata Pricing

By default, once sessions have started for a class, new bookings are blocked. You can enable mid-session booking to allow parents to join partway through a term.

How it works

1. Go to the class detail page in your dashboard.
2. In "Class Settings", toggle on "Mid-session booking allowed".
3. Parents will now be able to book even after some sessions have passed.

Pro-rata pricing

When mid-session booking is enabled for a paid class, the price is automatically adjusted based on the number of remaining sessions. For example, if a 10-session class costs £50 and 4 sessions have passed, the pro-rata price will be £30 (6 remaining sessions out of 10).

The pro-rata price is shown clearly on the booking page so parents know what they're paying for.
