Choosing which emails you get

Turn individual staff notifications on or off for yourself, per company, from the Notifications tab.

Bookabee emails you when things happen in your business — a booking comes in, a payment fails, someone joins a waitlist. If that's more mail than you want, the Notifications tab in your dashboard lets you choose which ones you get.

Where to find it

Open Notifications from the dashboard navigation. Everything is on by default, so if you've never visited this page you're getting the lot.

What you can turn off

  • New booking — when someone books one of this company's classes.
  • Waitlist sign-up — when someone adds themselves to a waitlist.
  • Payment declined — when a booker's payment fails, so you can follow up.
  • Weekly summary — the Monday morning digest of last week's trading. Admins only.

What you can't turn off

Team invite confirmations are always sent. The page lists them greyed out so it stays a complete picture of the mail Bookabee may send you.

Emails to your customers — booking confirmations, cancellations, waitlist offers — are not affected by anything on this page. Those are part of the booking process and are always sent.

It's per person, per company

Your choices are yours alone — switching off "New booking" doesn't stop your colleagues getting it. And they apply to one company at a time, so if you're in more than one, set them separately for each.

Tip

If bookings are coming in steadily, turning off "New booking" and keeping the weekly summary is a good trade — you stay across the business without a ping for every place sold.
