Creating and Managing Classes

Set up classes with descriptions, pricing, images, and capacity limits.

A class is the core building block in Bookabee. Each class has its own booking page, sessions, and bookings.

Creating a class

  1. Go to the Classes section in your dashboard and click "Create Class".
  2. Enter a class name (required) and optionally a short description and long description.
  3. Optionally set up sessions now, or leave the first session date blank to add sessions later.
  4. Click "Create Class" to save.

Class details you can configure

  • Name and description — shown to parents on the booking page.
  • Long description — a rich-text description with formatting, shown below the booking button.
  • Price — set in pence (e.g. 1500 = £15.00). Leave blank for free classes.
  • Maximum participants — limits how many people can book. Leave blank for unlimited.
  • Class image — a header image shown on the booking page.
  • Gallery images — additional photos shown on the booking page.
  • Location — add a venue name and address with a map.
  • Booking URL slug — a custom URL-friendly name for the class (e.g. /your-company/summer-football).

Tip

New classes are unpublished by default. This means they won't appear on your public page until you publish them, giving you time to configure everything first.
